Our church is going to be helping the Food Pantry with their Congregational Campaign Project this Summer. We will use the months of June , July, and August to learn more about everything the pantry does to share food with our food insecure neighbors. Our congregation is encouraged to bring in non-perishable items to be placed in our grocery cart in the church or a green pantry tub placed by the office. We ask that you take extra produce directly to the pantry between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday-Friday so they can be dispersed quickly to clients. It is hoped that any money donations given this summer can be used to fund the Farmer’s Market Coupon Program that the pantry provides June through September. The following is a list of food items that are always welcome at the pantry and particularly sought out items during summer months.
